UT Martin College of Business and Global Affairs is accredited by AACSB. The College houses two endowed chairs, the Journal of Business and Economic Perspectives, and a new Economics and Business Innovation Lab. We seek candidates who demonstrate a commitment to high quality undergraduate education and scholarly activity. Responsibilities This is a nine-month position requiring faculty to teach four courses each semester while maintaining an active research and service agenda. An ideal candidate should be motivated and able to teach a variety of economics courses typical of a 4-year AACSB accredited program. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of effective undergraduate classroom teaching and a pipeline of academic research. Applicant must submit a complete online application which includes: • a cover letter addressing your interest in applying for the position, and ways you might contribute to the department and university’s core commitment to undergraduate teaching and research, • a statement on your teaching philosophy to include (if applicable) courses previously taught, as well as any innovative or unique teaching methods, • a statement of research goals, • a current curriculum vitae, • unofficial graduate transcripts, • the contact information for three references (at least one of whom can assess the applicant’s teaching abilities) who can be contacted by email to submit confidential letters of recommendation, and • if ABD, a letter from their dissertation chair to include the topic of the dissertation, candidate’s progress towards the degree, as well as an anticipated date of completion of degree requirements. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Complete applications received by April 3, 2026 will receive full consideration. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Inquiries may be directed to: Dr. Anthony Delmond, Search Committee Chair [email protected] School of Business College of Business and Global Affairs University of Tennessee at Martin
