The Trail Crew focuses on but not limited to; trail building and maintenance, re-vegetation, erosion control, brush cutting, timber harvest, and general mountain clean up. Physical duties include but not limited to loading/unloading of re-vegetation supplies, seed/fertilizer distribution, skidding/tree removal, mowing, and other general maintenance.&nbsp;<br />\n<br />\n<strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Perform daily maintenance and improvement of mountain roads and trails</li>\n\t<li>Build and maintain trails, including erosion control and re-vegetation efforts</li>\n\t<li>Conduct brush cutting, timber harvesting, and general mountain cleanup</li>\n\t<li>Load and unload re-vegetation supplies; distribute seed and fertilizer</li>\n\t<li>Operate and assist with mowing and general landscape maintenance</li>\n\t<li>Utilize hand and power tools including chainsaws, weed eaters, brush cutters, and hand saws</li>\n\t<li>Perform physically demanding tasks such as hiking, digging, cutting, and moving large brush, logs, and shrubs</li>\n\t<li>Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment</li>\n\t<li>Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrate reliability through punctuality, accountability, and strong work ethic</li>\n\t<li>Work independently and collaboratively while taking and giving direction as needed</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills</li>\n\t<li>Experience operating and maintaining chainsaws in high alpine environments and proper chain saw etiquette preferred</li>\n\t<li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work for extended periods outdoors on uneven terrain</li>\n\t<li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including varying hours and conditions</li>\n\t<li>Previous trail maintenance experience is a plus</li>\n\t<li>Familiarity with Homewood Mountain Resort&rsquo;s trail system preferred</li>\n\t<li>Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license with an acceptable driving record</li>\n\t<li>Capable of frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and other physical movements</li>\n\t<li>Able to work at high elevations for extended periods</li>\n\t<li>Comfortable standing and walking for long durations</li>\n\t<li>Willing and able to work outdoors in all mountain weather conditions</li>\n\t<li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n\t<li>Physical agility and balance required to hike and work on ski slopes</li>\n\t<li>Ability to hike while carrying up to 50 lbs, including backpack-mounted equipment</li>\n\t<li>Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, safety, and professionalism</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Benefits&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>$23 - $25 hourly, Seasonal, Non-Exempt</li>\n\t<li>Employee Meals (Winter Only), and Recognition Programs&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Professional development and upward mobility opportunities&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Work-Family Culture&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>About Us</strong><br />\nLocated on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, Homewood Mountain Resort is a beloved four-season destination known for its stunning lake views, intimate slopes, and commitment to personalized guest experiences.
