The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in body repair, painting techniques, and production management with the proven ability to create and implement processes.</p>\n<p><span Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p>Department Oversight:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hire, manage and mentor a team of paint and body technicians to meet production goals and uphold quality standards.</li>\n<li>Foster a collaborative, safety-conscious, and performance-driven work environment.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and address challenges.</li>\n<li>Review and correct employee time punches and payroll reports daily.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Operational Oversight:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee scheduling and workflow to ensure timely project on time completion.</li>\n<li>Identify, maintain and enforce standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy.</li>\n<li>Develop and manage detailed production schedules for bodywork and paint jobs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.</li>\n<li>Oversee multiple stations simultaneously, coordinating closely with other departments such as metal fabrication. assembly, upholstery, and parts procurement to maintain workflow efficiency.</li>\n<li>Stay updated with the latest industry techniques, materials, and equipment related to classic vehicle restoration and make recommendations for departmental improvements.</li>\n<li>Must be on call evenings and weekends to respond to calls, texts, and time sensitive emails. <span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Metrics and Reporting:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track labor hours and manage material usage to monitor efficiency and budget adherence.</li>\n<li>Record, improve, and maintain departmental performance metrics, including productivity, costs, and quality standards.</li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain scorecards to executive leadership for review and strategic decision-making.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Cost Management:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage department budgets by tracking material costs and implementing cost-saving initiatives.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with procurement to source high-quality materials within budget constraints.</li>\n<li>Work closely with our supply chain department on inventory, ensuring sufficient stock while maintaining cost control and high-quality standards.</li>\n<li>Work closely with vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality materials.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Vendor Management and Quality Assurance:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with internal departments as well as outside vendors to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution, including pushing back on substandard deliveries to maintain project standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Required Skills and Abilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of bodywork techniques, paint mixing, application processes, and surface preparation.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing workflows, and ensuring quality control.</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers.</li>\n<li>Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address challenges related to scheduling, materials, and project management.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with shop management software, scheduling tools, and inventory systems.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Google Suite.</li>\n<li>Ability to work a minimum of 45-50 hours per week, on call as needed.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and underline\">Education Background and Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years in automotive paint and body repair performance metrics.</li>\n<li>Percentage of units hitting total hours goal increasing from 75% in Q1 to 85% by Q4.</li>\n<li>Station on time rotation with no carried hits 75%/75%/78%/82%</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Physical Demands (To include but not limited to) </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prolonged periods of standing or walking around the workspace.</li>\n<li>Frequently lifting heavy objects, such as tools, parts, or equipment, weighing up to 50-75 pounds.</li>\n<li>Regularly bending, stooping, or crouching to work on vehicles at different heights.</li>\n<li>Moving large or heavy equipment, carts, or vehicles within the shop.</li>\n<li>Precise manipulation of tools, small parts, and
