Description

Summary/Objective: The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembly, wiring, installation, integration of electrical systems, interpreting engineering diagrams, installing components, fabricating and routing conduit and wiring, ensuring proper functionality and adhering to quality standards. Essential Functions: · Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. · Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management. · Work cooperatively across Manufacturing Teams to meet dates and goals. · Follow all written and verbal instructions. · Attend all safety and production training. · Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, hand tools, precision maintenance tools, measuring devices, testing equipment and diagnostic tools. · Installation and routing of wiring systems, gauges, instrument components; fabricate rigid or flexible conduit, cut, strip, crimp, solder and termination of wire assemblies. · Interpret and understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and/or operation manuals. · Support continuous improvement and 5s initiatives related to workspace and organization. · Interact regularly with other manufacturing departments and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment. · Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time. · Perform other duties as assigned.
