This role supports customers and offices in northern New Jersey, the lower Hudson Valley, and NYC metropolitan areas including Nassau and Suffolk counties.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position provides support to internal and external customers primarily in the areas of variable frequency drives (VFD&rsquo;s), motion control, and programmable logic controllers (PLC&rsquo;s). This support includes providing technical knowledge in the use of automation products as well as trouble-shooting support, acting as a liaison between customers and Rockwell Automation. In addition, the role will include education of internal and external customers through webinars and on-site interactions. These presentations aim to educate customers on new and existing products and services. You will use your knowledge of the local business and competitive landscape to provide industrial automation solutions to customers.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><u>What You&#39;ll Do</u></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Sales Leadership</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with our team to plan and execute the annual commercial business growth including target account selection and pursuit, maintain technical competency, and identify future business investments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Articulate the value of Rockwell&rsquo;s Variable Frequency Drive and Power Product offering, engage in value discussions of rotary motion offerings (including independent cart and robotics), sell customer outcomes at all levels of the customer, develop third party vendor and delivery partners.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Customer-centric business advocate</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The performance of this specialist group is judged on the revenue performance of the assigned product segments. Candidate demonstrates ability to work independently and is self-motivated.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Technical</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You will be a technical liaison between Rockwell Automation, the distributor, and customers, providing technical, marketing, and commercial leadership for sales growth.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Drives &amp; Power Specialist is the domain expert and point of contact for customers when supporting the Power portfolio, which includes Emulate3D, Kinetix, PowerFlex, Motion, Integrated Cart Technology, Linear Motion and Robotics);&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides selection and design advice for most assigned products in common configurations and leverages the proper Rockwell Automation resources for engineered to order (ETO) solutions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Design software capabilities (i.e. SolidWorks), Emulate3D, motion-related networking and robotics experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to differentiate products/solutions from competition and promote the differences as meaningful benefits to the customer.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Marketing</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze market conditions, develop and implement an annual business plan.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understand market conditions, competitive forces, determine market share, and identify opportunities for growth.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with our marketing department to administer and implement marketing programs and product launches for Turtle&rsquo;s Industrial/Manufacturing/ solutions business.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good technical writing &amp; presentation skills with ability to present topics to mid / large size groups of customers (external and internal)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Clear communicator with a proven track record of providing relevant and timely information and feedback, as needed.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">4-year degree or equivalent professional experience in technical disciplines is required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated knowledge &amp; understanding of industrial automation standards and practices such as UL 61800-5-1 and UL 347A.<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>Control systems and Computer Technology (Microsoft)</li><li>Industrial/Manufacturing/Infrastructure solutions&nbsp;</li><li>Industrial/Manufacturing/Infrastructure Application Knowledge</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate will have exposure to all levels and connectivity of the Purdue Model (Field Devices to ERP).
