    "description": "<p>US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. We are hiring for both a full-time and a PRN position.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Review the operating room schedule at the beginning of each day to plan and prepare to perform the scrub position&#39;s duties effectively and efficiently.</li>\r\n\t<li>Competent in assisting routine Cardiac Cath and EP procedures/skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Operates computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation and performs quality control measures to ensure optimal image quality.</li>\r\n\t<li>Demonstrates knowledge and skills to interpret and respond to patient data and hemodynamic responses during pre, intra, and post-Cath and EP procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assists with the patient&#39;s admission, transfer, and discharge.</li>\r\n\t<li>Demonstrates ability to perform different responsibilities within the department, such as being a circulator, monitor, scrub, and holding area personnel assistant.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains professionalism and communicates effectively in high-stress situations.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Completion of an accredited program in surgical technology, RCIS, or ARRT certification, or two years of full-time Cath Lab experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>RCIS certification required at annual review.</li>\r\n\t<li>At least two years of Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>BLS and ACLS certification required.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>About Houston, TX:</strong><br />\r\n&nbsp;Houston is a diverse, fast-growing city with world-class dining, cultural attractions, and top-ranked healthcare facilities.
