Our broad service offering includes environmental consulting, geotechnical services, industrial hygiene, construction materials testing, and specialty testing.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>The <strong>Environmental Department Manager</strong> will support the Building and Construction business by overseeing Environmental services in the Latham/Albany Area of New York. This position could travel 20% of the time depending on company needs.</p><p><strong>Shift/Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p><span>The salary range for this position is $90,000</span> - $150,000<span>. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.</span></p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage clients, staff, and projects ranging from small to large scale complex scope of work.</li><li>Lead the sales process to include development and implementation of sales plans utilizing project manager staff.</li><li>Responsible for overseeing multi-discipline consulting services including, but not limited to environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, remediation design and implementation, industrial hygiene (indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, mold, etc.) and more</li><li>Responsible for managing staff, including scheduling, personnel hiring, mentorship and training, and regular performance reviews, etc.</li><li>Responsible for managing and reporting all financial aspects of the department monthly.</li><li>Responsible for managing the internal Project Management process for preparing and submitting environmental consulting proposals and reports according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and core management controls (CMCs).</li></ul><p>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Industrial Hygiene&nbsp;</li><li>10+ years of related office group management experience and P&amp;L growth required&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in preparing public sector (city, county, and state) submittals and managing associated projects&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to multiple task with staff, clients, project deadlines, and assignments</li><li>Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions</li><li>Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Must have knowledge of remedial and or abatement methodologies and design implementation.</li><li>Must have client experience and be able to interact and build relationships with clients</li><li>Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record&nbsp;required</li><li>Ability to travel up to 20% of the time</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional registration/certification (P.G., P.E., CHMM, CIH, CSP)&nbsp;</li><li>New York State Asbestos License&nbsp;(Management Planner &amp; Inspector)</li><li>New York State Mold License</li><li>New York City Asbestos Inspector License</li></ul><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
