    "description": "<h2>Specific Responsibilities Would Include:</h2>\n<p>The Associate Off-Price Designer supports the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery, by creating and executing original, trend-appropriate design concepts that meet market needs and drive sales, and ensuring the timely execution of each stage in the process.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Strategy & Innovation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Research and identify brand-right seasonal trends and concepts</li>\n <li>Support execution of seasonal design within the context of the overall assortment, cost and vendor strategy</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Product Design & Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator for garments including jeans, jackets, skirts, shorts, shirts, sweaters for women’s and men’s categories</li>\n <li>Prepare tech packs, update spec sheets, and maintain accurate product records in PLM or shared drives</li>\n <li>Support fabric and trim selection, wash development, and sample tracking</li>\n <li>Attend fittings and assist with fit notes for development and production</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Operations & Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain design libraries, sample archives, and organizational tools</li>\n <li>Track development milestones to ensure on-time sample delivery</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners in technical design, production, and merchandising</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Relationships & Communication</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors</li>\n <li>Support follow-up on sample status, fabric / lab dip/ knit down approvals</li>\n <li>Support in denim wash approvals and communication to vendors</li>\n <li>Assist in maintaining denim wash standard library</li>\n <li>Work closely with the Senior Manager of Product Development and Design, to ensure design execution aligns with brand and business goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Contribution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bring a collaborative, solutions-oriented attitude to the team</li>\n <li>Take initiative to learn and manage up when appropriate</li>\n <li>Stay organized, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Assist in preparation for key allocation meetings, including preparing samples and supporting documents</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field</li>\n <li>3-4 years of experience in apparel design; <strong>denim experience preferred </strong></li>\n <li>Strong sketching ability and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (Mac environment)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/ Word/ Powerpoint) to maintain WIP reports.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, wash processes, and fabric behavior (especially denim)</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team</li>\n <li>Familiarity with PLM systems to create and maintain tech packs</li>\n <li>Positive attitude and interpersonal skills </li>\n</ul>\n<p>In return, we provide an industry-competitive salary, along with a comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision) that includes a matching 401(k), Summer Fridays, generous PTO, merchandise discounts, excellent career development opportunities, and a work environment that reflects our industry leadership.
