Our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">multidisciplinary team of experts</span> offer strategic, technical, and regulatory advice in all fields related to power transmission, as well as a range of specialist solutions to a diverse and international client base in the power sector.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Elia Grid International has offices in Belgium, Germany, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Malaysia, and Calgary.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">Your function</span></p>\n<p>EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Power System Operations and Security</span> in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration. To achieve this, we are looking for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">experienced professionals with expertise in the field of transmission system operation</span>. These experts will take part in local and international projects focusing on RES integration, security of supply, sustainability and economic efficiency of Power Systems.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Typical activities involve (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">but are not limited to)</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">Analysis and definition of operational principles;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">Model definition and validation;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">Steady-state (load flow, short circuit calculations etc.);</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, voltage stability..);</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">Grid Code requirement and connection compliance studies;</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">Support the analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security (e.g. capacity calculation, balancing, operational planning..);</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\"> Support the company’s business development teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities by establishing trusted relationships with our clients and developing proposals. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<p>Your responsibilities will be decided based on your competencies and expertise and will be discussed during your interviews with managers.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">Your profile</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics;</li>\n<li>Around 10 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state-of-the-art technological solutions);</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 15px\">Experience with HVDC, FACTS and Power Electronics related studies including transient stability, fault analysis, and dynamic performance assessments.</span></li>\n<li>Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions;</li>\n<li>Knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE, PSCAD).</li>\n<li>Fluent in English;</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Arabic and the region is a strong asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900; font-size: 18px\">What we offer</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Permanent contract or freelance position;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Attractive salary package and an extensive array of fringe benefits;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Exciting, professional and international environment in a fast-growing company;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Unique training, personal development and growth opportunities.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">At EGI, we value diversity and inclusion.
