          "text": "<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laboratory Technician to join our team in Lanham, United States. In this Technician 1 position, you will play a crucial role in our sample management operations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of laboratory processes. You will be responsible for handling, preparing, and managing samples while maintaining strict adherence to laboratory protocols and quality standards. This role requires a methodical approach to work, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.</p><ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service.</li><li>Interact with clients, both in person and over the phone.</li><li>Receive, log, and organize laboratory samples according to established protocols and chain-of-custody procedures to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met.</li><li>Communicate with customers and laboratory personnel to resolve problems.</li><li>Prepare samples for testing by performing appropriate preprocessing, labeling, and documentation</li><li>Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality</li><li>Conduct routine quality control checks and document results accurately</li><li>Maintain detailed and organized records of all sample activities, test results, and equipment maintenance</li><li>Follow all laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements</li><li>Identify and report any discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or procedural concerns to supervisory staff</li><li>Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents</li><li>Support the efficient workflow of the laboratory by coordinating with other team members</li><li>Perform data entry and maintain laboratory information systems with precision and accuracy</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>",
