Join us to help make an impact.\n<h2>Your Opportunity</h2>\n<p>The Section Editor will be responsible for developing and/or editing high-quality content within specific content domain(s), applying both clinical knowledge/experience and the principles of evidence-based medicine. The candidate must have the ability to analyze and critically appraise medical research and literature and edit work produced by the editorial team. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a part-time, compensated position with an expected time commitment of 4-6 hours per week on average over the year. </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Determine overall editorial Strategic plan for content development and maintenance of your Specialty in collaboration with the Deputy Editor  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Help recruit specialists in your field to serve as Topic Editors as needed </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform clinical proofing of DynaMed topics and act as a clinical resource for other team members </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote product adoption and usage via sales support at conferences or in online meetings with healthcare systems that are considering adoption of DynaMed </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>Secondary responsibilities (some of which you may participate in):</strong><strong> </strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in the assessment of recently published articles for potential inclusion in DynaMed as well as clinical review of DynaMed content derived from included studies </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assume additional responsibility for content, workflow, or projects that create value in pursuing DynaMed’s mission </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in the development of Hospitalist-focused content and algorithms </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee selection and clinical review of multimedia within Urology  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About You</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MD or DO with license/certification current and in good standing </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Specialty board certification (if applicable) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ongoing participation in clinical activity </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>> 5 years of direct patient care </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiar with the coverage of content in DynaMed in Urology  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What sets you apart:</strong>  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated understanding of use of health information technology to support clinical decision-making </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to exercise judgment, to make decisions and produce content requiring minimal changes </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to self-manage multiple tasks and priorities within deadlines, and report on work produced </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership qualities, such as initiative and a strong work ethic </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills such that feedback is effectively and constructively given </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $113,455.00 - USD $162,075.00 /Yr.",
