You are a motivated, curious, and collaborative team player who is eager to gain hands-on experience in project coordination and mechanical building services while learning from a team of dynamic project managers and senior project managers. In addition to a rewarding work term, you can expect:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive compensation for the co-op term<br>•    Hands-on project experience that complements your academic program<br>•    Mentorship from experienced project managers and senior technical staff<br>•    Exposure to real-world mechanical building services and construction administration work<br>•    Flexible working hours and short day Fridays all year long<br>•    A hybrid working model, where applicable to the role and team needs<br>•    Access to in-house training and company-sponsored learning opportunities<br>•    Opportunities to attend meetings, site visits, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams<br>•    Paid mileage for approved work-related travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Role:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>   Support a team of senior project managers and project managers in the delivery of assigned projects.<br>•    Assist with reviews of existing mechanical installations and field conditions.<br>•    Help track and organize project deliverables, documentation, and key deadlines.<br>•    Work with project managers to monitor project progress, schedules, and coordination activities.<br>•    Coordinate with site inspectors and internal team members to support site-related activities.<br>•    Assist with construction administration tasks including shop drawing reviews, contract document organization, and project record maintenance.<br>•    Support the team in completing construction administration tasks accurately and on time.<br>•    Assist in responding to client and project-related inquiries, with guidance from senior team members.<br>•    Help prepare and update project schedules, task lists, and meeting documentation.<br>•    Attend internal and client meetings and prepare clear, detailed meeting minutes.<br>•    Provide support on proposals and business development tasks, as assigned.<br>•    Take on additional project coordination and administrative responsibilities as needed to support successful project delivery.<br>•    Complete other tasks assigned by leadership to support learning and team objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Bring To TCG:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>   Currently enrolled in a university engineering program, preferably mechanical engineering or a related discipline.<br>•    Available for a 12–18 month co-op placement to complement your studies.<br>•    A strong interest in mechanical building services, project coordination, and the construction industry.<br>•    Coursework or foundational knowledge related to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems is considered an asset.<br>•    Familiarity with the National Building Code of Canada, the Ontario Building Code, or related standards is an asset but not required.<br>•    Eagerness to learn project management principles and apply them in a professional setting.<br>•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.<br>•    Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats with colleagues and project stakeholders.<br>•    Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br>•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<br>•    A positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>All Co-Op students must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for commuting to our office and site visits.</em></span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Can Expect in our Recruitment Process:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A preliminary screen with HR either via email or phone to confirm a few details about the position, your academic program, and your co-op search. If we are aligned, we will proceed with the following interviews:</li>\n<li>A 45-60 minute virtual conversation with one of our Engineering Managers from the respective team you are applying to. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your coursework, interests, and the areas in which you hope to gain hands-on experience.</li>\n<li>A 60-minute in-person interview with both our Engineering Manager as well as our President, Sam Soltani. This is a great opportunity for you to hear more about the company, our plans for growth, and how you would fit into the team during your co-op term.</li>\n<li>Additional team interview, as required by role.</li>\n<li>HR will connect with you to gather references and process a background check in tandem with your Offer of Employment.</li>\n<li>Once your Offer of Employment is accepted, the team will then begin preparing for your onboarding journey with us.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
