Please visit the tun.touro.edu/administration/human-resources website where you can see a comprehensive listing of optional benefits and Human Resources contact information.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li><strong>Standardized Patient (SP) Program Oversight</strong><li>Develop and implement onboarding, training, and evaluation protocols for SPs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of SP participation, competencies, and feedback.</li><li>Ensure SPs are prepared for simulation scenarios and meet performance expectations.</li></li>\n<li><strong>Staff Education and Development</strong><li>Assist in sourcing and scheduling internal and external training opportunities for full-time simulation staff.</li><li>Support the planning and coordination of simulation workshops, continuing education sessions, and certification prep (e.g., CHSE, CHSOS).</li><li>Occasionally serve as an instructor or co-facilitator for simulation-based training sessions.</li></li>\n<li><strong>Faculty Training and Support</strong><li>Collaborate with faculty to design and deliver simulation-based learning experiences.</li><li>Lead initial and annual faculty training sessions on simulation best practices, including scenario design, prebriefing, debriefing, and assessment.</li><li>Provide ongoing mentorship and support to faculty integrating simulation into their curricula.</li></li>\n<li><strong>Program Alignment and Accreditation</strong><li>Ensure all educational activities align with SSH standards and accreditation requirements.</li><li>Participate in the development and documentation of policies, procedures, and orientation materials for simulation educators.</li><li>Contribute to accreditation efforts by maintaining records and supporting documentation for staff roles and training.</li></li>\n<li><strong>External Collaboration</strong><li>Work with external institutions and partners to support their simulation-based curriculum requirements and training needs.</li></li>\n<li><strong>Other Job Duties as Assigned</strong><li>Perform additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Clinical Simulation to support departmental goals and institutional priorities.</li></li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em><u>Education</u>:     </em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree in healthcare, education, or related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Experience</u>:</em>   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in simulation education or clinical training.</li>\n <li>Experience with SP programs, faculty development, and simulation technologies preferred.</li>\n <li>CHSE or CHSOS certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 12 months</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Skills & Abilities</u>:</em>      </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively across departments</li>\n <li>Proficiency with simulation software and AV systems</li>\n <li>Familiarity with SSH standards and accreditation processes</li>\n <li>Comfort with teaching and public speaking</li>\n</ul>",
