Employees in this role follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards to produce high-quality medical device components and products. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Production Operator Assembler I Essential Job Functions</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Core Responsibilities (Applies to All Areas)</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform visual and/or dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools, as required.</li>\n <li>Complete required documentation such as production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records. </li>\n <li>Handle and work with cleaning chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, detergents, or solvents when needed. </li>\n <li>Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S expectations. </li>\n <li>Participate in required training and company meetings.</li>\n <li>Read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard work, and applicable quality/ISO/cGMP requirements. </li>\n <li>Crosstrain across manufacturing areas.</li>\n <li>Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device regulatory requirements. </li>\n <li>Communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes promptly. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>The following responsibilities may vary by operating company and may not apply in all cases. Other responsibilities may also be assigned, but are not listed below.</em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>Assembly Responsibilities</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect, assemble, and/or package components and medical devices per customer specifications.</li>\n <li>Operate hand tools and basic manual equipment used in the assembly process. </li>\n <li>Use sealing equipment such as tray, band, or impulse sealers. </li>\n <li>Perform labeling, packaging, and final presentation of product.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Production Operations Responsibilities</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate production equipment or machines per work instructions, ensuring correct materials, tooling, programs, and processes are used.</li>\n <li>Monitor production processes, part quality, and machine performance.</li>\n <li>Perform basic preventive or operator-level machine checks (e.g., cleanliness, safe operation).</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Secondary Operations Responsibilities</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform secondary operations such as trimming, deburring, cleaning, laser marking, laser welding and/or finishing of components. </li>\n <li>Operate designated secondary equipment or simple mechanical devices.</li>\n <li>Inspect and verify part conformance after secondary operations.</li>\n <li>Use basic measurement tools to ensure accuracy (gauge pins, calipers, tape measures).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Production Operator Assembler I Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.</li>\n <li>Perform basic math, hand–eye coordination, and dexterity. </li>\n <li>Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement equipment. </li>\n <li>Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. </li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple tasks.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Production Operator Assembler I Desirable Criteria & Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>6+ months of manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or cleanroom experience.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with FDA, ISO, cGMP, Lean manufacturing, or workplace safety practices. </li>\n <li>Experience working with microscopes or inspection tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>rms Company Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
