    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Brookdale Community College seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach Sculpture for the Fall 2025 semester.  This course introduces students to the fundamentals of three-dimensional artmaking, emphasizing exploration of form, materials, and techniques within a contemporary context.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Introduce students to a range of sculpture techniques, tools, and materials, including traditional and non-traditional approaches.</li>\n <li>Provide foundational instruction in 3D concepts, including form, space, volume, and composition.</li>\n <li>Introduce concepts of sculptural form and aesthetics, connecting historical and contemporary sculptural practices.</li>\n <li>Ensure and enforce studio safety procedures when working with tools and equipment.</li>\n <li>Develop a course syllabus addendum aligned with department standards, including objectives, outcomes, and grading criteria.</li>\n <li>Hold office hours to support students outside of class.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Sculpture. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Relevant experience and expertise in sculpture processes and techniques.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to effectively teach fundamental 3D concepts and the safe use of relevant tools and materials.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Commitment to teaching excellence.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior teaching experience at the community college level.</li>\n <li>Experience with diverse student populations.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Application Documents</h2>Cover Letter, CV, Other, Resume, Unofficial Transcript\n<h2>Pay Rate</h2>$985 per credit hour",
