    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Superintendent</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Red Cedar Construction Services is seeking a Superintendent for our Greenville, SC market. This role is responsible for managing daily field operations, trade partner coordination, schedule execution, quality control, safety, inspections, and project documentation across assigned construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience managing fast-paced construction schedules, coordinating multiple trades, and maintaining a commercial or production-oriented mindset in a multi-unit, community-based, or build-to-rent environment.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee project schedules to ensure strict timelines are met, and jobs are in sequence.</li>\n<li>Frequently inspect projects to verify quality, and work in progress, taking photos of the progress of the projects.</li>\n<li>Ensure projects maintain a safe and cleanliness throughout the duration of the project. Job site cleanliness and safety are a top priority and everyone’s responsibility</li>\n<li>Communicate with our subcontractors and provide support to keep construction flowing without delays.</li>\n<li>Communicate with multiple departments to achieve production goals and timelines.</li>\n<li>Manage the job site and supervise daily trade partner activities in accordance with job schedules and business scopes of work.</li>\n<li>Inspects and ensures that work is in compliance with City/County/State requirements and building codes.</li>\n<li>Utilize construction management software for trade partner notification, scheduling, and invoice approval.</li>\n<li>Identify potential trade partners and subcontractors within specific regions.</li>\n<li>Oversee the construction and inspection of the homes/ projects/ communities using inspection forms, plans and procedures.</li>\n<li>Negotiate solutions raised by inspectors and trade partners.</li>\n<li>Provide trade partner feedback to the Division leaders concerning the trade partner’s timeliness and attention to detail, with significant bearing on trade partner relationships.</li>\n<li>Maintain records of all change orders and/or purchase orders and inspections in a community.</li>\n<li>Determine whether to approve trade partner invoices upon satisfactory completion of the job and approve all deliveries for quantity and condition.</li>\n<li>Walk assigned homes/ projects/ communities at least once but preferably twice a day.</li>\n<li>Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled.</li>\n<li>Address safety, quality, and legal requirements to ensure a quality home/ project/ community is provided within budget.</li>\n<li>Own project schedule execution and proactively identify delays, trade gaps, material issues, and inspection risks.</li>\n<li>Hold trade partners accountable to scopes of work, schedule commitments, safety standards, and quality expectations.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of construction management, field supervision, or project management experience required.</li>\n<li>Experience with multi-unit residential, build-to-rent, townhome, commercial, or production/community construction strongly preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, trade coordination, inspections, quality control, and jobsite safety.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or related field experience is a plus</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes of work, specifications, and construction documents.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple projects, buildings, or units in different phases of construction at once.</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills with trade partners, inspectors, internal departments, and leadership.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with construction management software, Microsoft Office, and project documentation tools.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8:30 am - 5 pm</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Type:<br></span></p>\n<p>• Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:<br></span></p>\n<p>• 100% Medical, Dental, &amp; Vision insurance covered to the employee and their children<br></p>\n<p>• 401k with a Safe Harbor match formula of 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of their compensation, then 50% matching contribution of the next 2% of employee's compensation<br></p>\n<p>• Company-paid holidays<br></p>\n<p>• PTO<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ability to Commute/Relocate:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greenville, SC: Ability to reliably commute or willingness to relocate before starting work (required).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Location:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Onsite | Office &amp; Project sites</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands:</span></p>\n<p><em>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
