Incumbent works closely with the Plant Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Engineering Manager, and other maintenance team members to provide preventative maintenance to meet production goals, ensure a safe work environment, and meet customer specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain all production machines and plant facility's mechanical equipment. </li>\n <li>Detects and diagnoses mechanical failures, including pneumatic and hydraulic malfunctions of equipment, repairs and replaces as necessary. </li>\n <li>Utilizes precision measuring tools/devices, hand tools and testing instruments to ensure equipment installation and alignment are within OEM specifications. </li>\n <li>The ability to read and understand mechanical prints and technical diagrams for the installation and repair of equipment</li>\n <li>Completes oil and lube cycles on all equipment at the manufacturers recommended intervals.</li>\n <li>Maintains housekeeping in areas of assigned responsibility to ensure a safe and clean work environment.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned, including but not limited to equipment tooling, changeovers, and equipment startups.</li>\n <li>Completes all documentation in Maintenance Connection including WR and PM documents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies </strong></p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform strenuous work</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions from equipment manuals.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform complicated maintenance repairs individually by contacting SME & without close supervision.</li>\n <li>Ability to establish an effective working relationship with other employees</li>\n <li>A strong mechanical aptitude.</li>\n <li>Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical repairs and duties.</li>\n <li>Experience in using all common hand and power tools</li>\n <li>Skills to service and provide general building maintenance</li>\n <li>Ability to operate forklift</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements and Work Environment</strong><em>:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.</li>\n <li>Frequently required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.</li>\n <li>Use of hands and arms to handle tools, operate machinery, and perform maintenance tasks with precision.</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a variety of environmental conditions, including hot, cold, wet, dusty, or noisy areas.</li>\n <li>Visual acuity to read technical documents, safety warnings, and perform detailed inspections.</li>\n <li>Ability to respond to auditory signals, alarms, and verbal instructions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the task.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>HS Diploma or equivalency </li>\n <li>Must have no more than 4 attendance points</li>\n <li>Must not have a step 2 disciplinary action within the last year</li>\n <li>Previous experience with Thermoforming machines preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDIIB</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
