AA/EOE</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Specific Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Instruct introductory- or mid-level courses in Spanish and Latin American culture and literature;</li><li>Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus, goals, and objectives;</li><li>Design, administer, and grade essays, examinations, and applicable projects to accurately assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus;</li><li>Provide clear documentation of student progress through regular and frequent feedback, academic warnings, and midterm progress reports as necessary;</li><li>Create an inclusive classroom environment conducive to culture and language learning, which actively engages students;</li><li>Contribute to program and General Education assessment of student learning outcomes based on signature assignments in courses;</li><li>Maintain regular office and language lab hours to meet one-on-one with students;</li><li>Assist with extracurricular cultural programs as needed to complement classroom learning;</li><li>Work with the program faculty to ensure instructional quality and program quality;</li><li>Adhere to College policies and procedures.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<u><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Some evening and weekend hours may be required.</li></ul>",
