    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Regional Supply Chain Planner for Intermediate Chemicals will have responsibility for both tactical and strategic balancing of supply/demand/inventory for the Intermediate Chemicals Americas portfolio. This individual must collaborate effectively across all IC functional groups and the broader AC Core with a strong drive for results.  The role will require quick but effective analysis of complex problems for recommendations in line with strategic business imperatives. A strong focus on communication and the free flow of information is important for success in this role. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with high level technical skills to gain exposure to the commercial functions of the Intermediate Chemicals business line.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with Intermediate Chemicals Global Planner, Alternative Sourcing, Manufacturing team, Logistics, Logistics Procurement, Intermediate Chemicals RPM's, FP&A and other Celanese planners to optimize both tactical (daily) and strategic (long term) supply/demand balance for Intermediate Chemicals products in line with Acetyl Chain strategic business imperatives</li>\n <li>Maintain production and inventory plans based on inventory targets and strategic business imperatives</li>\n <li>Provide input for approval of Constrained Consensus Demand Forecast based upon known supply constraints</li>\n <li>Provide and execute recommendations that consider cost, service levels and strategic business imperatives</li>\n <li>Collaborate with planners from Intermediate Chemicals Americas key customers</li>\n <li>Work with Network Optimization resources to determine inventory targets aligned with network capability and strategic business imperatives</li>\n <li>Maintain Intermediate Chemicals Americas SAP Material Master Data (tabs MRP1, MRP2, MRP3, MRP4)</li>\n <li>Maintain Intermediate Chemicals Americas SAP Allocation Tables (set up, turn on, turn off)</li>\n <li>Full backup for other Intermediate Chemicals Americas Planner</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business with Supply Chain focus or related field required</li>\n <li>3+ years experience in planning or manufacturing</li>\n <li>High level analytical skills</li>\n <li>SAP experience plus advanced MS Excel skills</li>\n <li>Technial communication skills (be able to translate technical information to people without a technical background)</li>\n <li>General communications skills (verbal & written with capability to communicate both upward and downward effectively)</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with a willingness to make decisions</li>\n <li>Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies desireable</li>\n</ul>",
