Description

Overnight Recovery Support Specialist Reports to Operations Supervisor About our organization: At Granite Recovery Centers, we do things differently. Overview: Our Recovery Support Staff team works hands-on with clients on a non-clinical basis throughout the duration of the clients stay. RSS is tasked with 24-hour direct supervision of clients, holding each client personally accountable through the enforcement of policy and procedure. RSS serves each client by offering growth opportunities, encouragement and support based upon the application of the 12 Steps into real life situations. Other RSS duties include the observation of client medication administration, transportation of clients to and from 12 Step meetings, medical appointments and the gym, documentation of observed behavioral issues and assisting in the new client admissions process. Knowledge: High school diploma or GED preferred Some computer proficiency Have knowledge of the client manual and policies and procedures enforced at TGH Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with clients and with other members of the Team Build and develop quality rapport with clientele whereby RSS may serve as a support system Documentation of observed behavioral issues and client interactions Abilities: Monitoring, observing, and ensuring the safety of our clients Providing support to assist with meeting therapeutic goals Coordinating client transportation and recreational events Supporting client treatment plans Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Other Characteristics: SHIFT: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM - days to TBD Position will pay $1.00 shift differential from hours of 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Demonstrate and foster the company’s Mission, Vision and Values SHIFT: Third / 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM - days TBD
