    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>General Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The E-Commerce Associate is responsible for assisting with the day to-day tasks of Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi&#39;s e-commerce business. Duties include, but not limited to, identifying, marketing, and processing sales transactions of donated merchandise and used books for online sales, as well as, providing excellent customer service via oral and written communication.</p><p><strong>Principal Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>The E-Commerce Specialist picks, packages, weighs and prepares for shipment items sold online by Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi.</li><li>Assist with the physical receipt, storage, and evaluation process to determinie the value of books and media items.</li><li>Enters book descriptions and price into software system, packaging, shipping and tracking of books and media items that are sold through ecommerce.</li><li>Ability to post Shopgoodwill items without assistance when necessary.</li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours when needed.</li><li>Moves merchandise from the back room to the processing/posting floor as needed.</li><li>Ensure a clean work area at the end of shift.</li><li>Assist in security by staying aware of inventory and reporting any suspicious activity or theft to ecommerce management.</li><li>Keeps work area clean and hazard free.</li><li>Follows company policies and safety procedures.</li><li>Regular attendance is required.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service at all times.</li><li>A variety of work in other areas of the ecommerce department may be assigned as necessary to support the business needs.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities Required:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the general public.</li><li>&nbsp;Must be able to clearly communicate, write and read in English.</li><li>&nbsp;Vision corrected to within normal limits.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent, or six months to one year of related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>This individual must possess a high degree of attention to processes and detail.</li><li>Basic to intermediate computer experience, including working knowledge of e-commerce businesses, as well software programs such as Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, required.</li><li>Previous experience writing online auctions and/or an understanding of collectibles such as antiques, brand names, and other items of value, preferred.</li><li>Must have a valid Mississippi driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
