We maintain rigorous safeguarding practices to ensure a secure, supportive, and nurturing environment where all students can thrive.</p><p><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong><br>The Secondary School is seeking experienced classroom teachers available on an on-call basis to serve as substitute teachers for grades 6-12. The ideal candidates will have strong classroom management skills, familiarity with hands-on teaching practices, relevant experience with middle school students, and the ability to teach multiple academic subjects. The Secondary School &#160;is seeking personable and enthusiastic professionals who are inspired by working closely with adolescents. Short and long term assignments are sporadic during the school year.&#160;</p><p>Substitutes are needed for half day, full day, and extended subbing schedules throughout the school year. We provide substitute teachers with as much advance notice as possible, a lesson plan from the classroom teacher, administrative support, and competitive compensation.&#160;</p><p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Experience teaching, tutoring and/or working with youth is preferred</li><li>Regular and reliable attendance&#160;</li></ul><p><strong>EEO</strong><br><em>AIS is an equal opportunity employer.
