This\nposition is based in our NYC headquarters in the Flatiron district and reports\nto the CEO.<span style=\"\" class=\"\">&nbsp; </span></font></span></p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\"><span style=\"\" class=\"\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"4\">&nbsp;</font></span></p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\"><span style=\"\" class=\"\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"4\">The Executive\nProducer will be responsible for all aspects of production and staff related to\nthe GZERO World program. <span style=\"\" class=\"\">&nbsp;</span>The ideal\ncandidate will have experience launching a current affairs program and building\na team from the earliest stages. You will determine the production workflow and\nappropriate staffing to turnaround a weekly current affairs program that is\nproduced on location around the world, and incorporates various elements of\nanalysis, interviews and political satire using puppets. </font></span></p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\"><span style=\"\" class=\"\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"4\">We are a very\ncollaborative and transparent team, but you will be the ultimate creative and\neditorial authority for the program. You will have important day-to-day\ndecision-making responsibility, as well as a dominant role in shaping the\nfuture trajectory of the program. You have a history of strong news judgement\nand a keen awareness of journalistic rules and practices. You will have a clear\nview on how this program is distinct from other shows and content in this\nspace, you’ll understand it’s appeal and have a shared vision for how to evolve\nand improve upon the current iteration. As a program that is new and evolving,\nyou will closely track performance data and engage the team often in formal and\ninformal assessments and analysis. </font></span></p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\"><span style=\"\" class=\"\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"4\">&nbsp;</font></span></p>\n\n<p class=\"msonormal\"><span style=\"\" class=\"\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"4\">You have\nsignificant experience managing a show budget, forecasting appropriately and\nworking within budget parameters. You are also oriented towards developing\ncontent and strategies that contribute to the bottom line. We operate in both\nthe broadcast television and digital media, and you will be focused on\nproducing for both platforms and audiences. You understand the commercial\nenvironment and how to satisfy sponsors and leverage advertising opportunities\nwhile preserving editorial integrity.
