In this role, you will collaborate closely with frontend developers, simulation engineers, and product teams to ensure our systems remain scalable and highly secure.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A central focus of this position is driving operational efficiency. We expect you to proactively leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and AI-assisted engineering tools to automate recurring development and backend tasks.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Backend Service Engineering:</span> Core feature development, profiling backend services, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing performance for safety-critical, industrial-scale applications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Security &amp; Quality Assurance:</span> Auditing code pipelines for logic errors, mitigating security vulnerabilities, participating in peer code reviews, and building automated testing suites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cloud Infrastructure &amp; Reliability:</span> Scaling cloud resources (GCP/Azure), continuously upgrading CI/CD pipelines, and implementing modern logging, diagnostic, and monitoring frameworks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you bring (required qualifications)</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience:</span> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, paired with at least <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">two years of professional backend development experience</span> focused on cloud-based distributed systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Proficiency:</span> Strong programming fluency in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Python</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SQL</span>.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cloud &amp; Infrastructure:</span> Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">GCP or Azure</span>), Linux systems administration, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks like <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ansible and Terraform</span>.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
