(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill  is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lead a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway design, zoning analysis, site plan preparation, site storm-water management, utility planning and layout, transportation planning/design, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, pavement and grading design, and site utility replacement.  </li>\n <li>Lead coordination and presentation of submissions with local municipalities, utilities, environmental agencies, and town/county planning boards. </li>\n <li>Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions.</li>\n <li>Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings, specifications, and bid packages.</li>\n <li>Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services.</li>\n <li>Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects.</li>\n <li>Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction. </li>\n <li>Pro-actively engage with existing clients and pursue new clients to support growth of the business in the region across LiRo’s service lines.</li>\n <li>Lead the preparation of technical content for proposals for civil engineering services.</li>\n <li>Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm.</li>\n <li>Supervise, mentor, and develop local engineering staff.</li>\n <li>Perform monthly and quarterly updates of project financials and revenue projections.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering</li>\n <li>12+ years of progressive experience in Site and Civil Engineering </li>\n <li>NY PE required</li>\n <li>Experience in working with various NYS county DOT/DPW/Highway Departments, NYSDOT, and/or other large, local municipalities. </li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills </li>\n <li>Ability to provide constructive guidance to engineers and drafters</li>\n <li>Understanding and application of local code and permitting requirements</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate with the Regional Manager and other business units for pursuit of business opportunities and growth of the practice</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines</li>\n <li>AutoCAD; Civil 3D or Microstation experience a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our Culture:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We believe in the power of collaboration.
