With Union Street Market on site, employees have convenient access to regionally sourced food and beverages from local merchants throughout the workday.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What Are My Responsibilities as a Detailer / Drafter at New Millennium?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare joist and deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Prepare RFI’s and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers and others</li>\n <li>Calculate joist and girder loading based on design loading provided on contract documents</li>\n <li>Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, production driven environment</li>\n <li>Meet schedules for assigned projects</li>\n <li>Other duties as necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What Are the Requirements for This Role?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Fluent with AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings</li>\n <li>Willingness to go beyond typical duties to assist co-workers and customers</li>\n <li>CAD related degrees and/or experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Preferred</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior structural and/or joist detailing experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
