Providing team members with training, instruction, tools, and the direction they need to successfully maintain equipment and facilities.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> include the following: Other duties may be assigned. &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Directly supervises maintenance and technicians.</li><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization&#39;s policies and applicable laws.</li><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance</li><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>As needed, provide counseling or disciplinary action in adherence with Company policies.</li><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Monitor equipment, oversee repair tasks and preventive maintenance program to ensure ongoing hatchery performance</li><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Work in conjunction with production, trucking, and other departments to coordinate projects and handle issues</li></ul><p><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><strong>&nbsp;EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>High school education or GED. Some post high school education is strongly desired.</li><li style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Minimum of 5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><p><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style='font-size: 16px; font-family: \"times new roman\", serif;'>Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
