Our Peer Services provide support to clients using personal experiences to build rapport and engage in services that are offered.</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Share&nbsp;lived experience of resilience and recovery and&nbsp;models successful recovery behaviors for individuals with a mental health diagnoses and/or a substance use disorder.</li>\n\t<li>Link clients with support groups and other community resources, which may include connecting with health &amp; wellness activities, finding and maintaining employment, or other activities that would support clients&rsquo; recovery goals.</li>\n\t<li>Work&nbsp;within an interdisciplinary team to develop and modify individual client treatment plans.</li>\n\t<li>May participate and/or facilitate mutual support and education groups within specific ReDiscover programs.</li>\n\t<li>May assist with client transportation, which could include transporting individuals in personal vehicle.</li>\n\t<li>Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality.&nbsp; This may include providing&nbsp;written documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Requirements of the Position:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>High school diploma or GED equivalent required.</li>\n\t<li>Will have to be willing to work &nbsp;Monday-Friday 20-25 hours per week part time.</li>\n\t<li>A valid automobile driver&rsquo;s license, appropriate automobile insurance and a&nbsp;safe, reliable, registered automobile available for use during work.</li>\n\t<li>Must have life experiences with a substance use disorder and/or mental illness and have received appropriate services.</li>\n\t<li>Must have successfully completed the Peer Specialist training through the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB) and successfully passed the certification exam.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Must also satisfy requirements for external community partners.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.</li>\n\t<li>Strong&nbsp;written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.</li>\n\t<li>Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>Grow With Us</strong></p>\n\n<p>We&rsquo;re committed to your professional development and will support your growth as a Peer Support Specialist with training, collaboration, and meaningful work.</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>Ready to join a team that&rsquo;s passionate about people?&nbsp; Apply today and help make wellness&nbsp;accessible for all.</strong></p>\n",
