This position is part of the Skills for the Future Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship Program</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Honor Commitments:</strong></p><ul><li>Complete the checklist of competencies associated with the Diesel Technician Pathway checklist.</li><li>Comply with all program requirements and company policies, demonstrating reliability and accountability.</li></ul><p><strong>Create Positive Experiences:</strong></p><ul><li>Treat customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner, ensuring a positive interaction and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Assist other technicians on jobs to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the team's success.</li></ul><p><strong>Foster Lifelong Learning:</strong></p><ul><li>Show a desire to learn the business and grow within the organization, actively seeking knowledge and skill development.</li><li>Participate in training and educational opportunities provided by the company.</li></ul><p><strong>Exhibit Pioneering Spirit:</strong></p><ul><li>Display initiative and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges, supporting the team and improving personal proficiency.</li><li>Assist in various tasks to support and increase technician proficiency and efficiency, demonstrating a proactive attitude.</li></ul><p><strong>Demonstrate Good Stewardship:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the overall efficiency of the service department by assisting with various tasks and learning proper maintenance and repair techniques.</li><li>Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties as Assigned:</strong></p><ul><li>Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.</li></ul><p>The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.</p><p>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
