    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>At Baptist Health, our mission is to improve the health and quality of life for the individuals and communities we serve.</p>\n<p>Baptist Health Princeton Hospital offers great NEW competitive pay and benefits!</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>403(b) Retirement Savings Plan w/matching</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off (up to 5 weeks to start)</li>\n <li>Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Extended Leave Plan (ELP)</li>\n <li>Family Care (childcare, elder care, pet care)</li>\n <li>Educational Benefits including tuition reimbursement & monthly payments to help pay down any graduated school debt</li>\n</ul>\n<p>ALL benefits start on day one!</p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>Direct supervision by a preceptor to develop technical and professional skills through observation and hands on demonstration</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong>• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.• Positions patient, equipment, associated devices and manipulates technical factors to achieve high quality images for interpretation.• Utilizes critical thinking skills to recognize patients' physical limitations pertaining to age specific needs.• Delivers appropriate patient care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.• Identify, acquire, and document pertinent patient history relative to procedures. • Develop ability to assess Radiographic Images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring all relative anatomy is demonstrated.• Applies principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.• Applies appropriate standard of precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent cross-contamination ofcommunicable disease.• Develops proficiency in contrast material and adverse reactions to contrast media. • Adhere to Baptist Health policy, procedures, protocols, mission statements and commitment to excellence standards. • Learn the necessary skills required of a licensed Baptist Health Radiologic Technologist so that they will be equipped to work independently upon graduation and successful completion of introductory period.• Develop necessary skills to utilize all Corporate Radiology computer systems (EPIC, PACS) effectively and accurately.• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Baptist Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.• Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.• Maintains compliance with all Baptist Health policies and procedures.<strong>Other Related Functions</strong>• Follows established image processing techniques and procedures. • Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. • Maintains well-stocked and organized work areas. • Works evenings, overnights, and weekends as scheduled. • May be required to work at any Baptist Health facility. • Performs other duties as necessary to assure customer satisfaction.• Provides patient transport</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education/Training</p>\n<p>Must be enrolled in Senior Year of Radiologic Technology accredited school.</p>\n<p>Must have pre-approval from school to apply to internship.</p>\n<p>Licensure/Certification</p>\n<p>BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire.</p>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<p>No experience required</p>",
