    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">OrthoNY is opening a <strong>brand new, state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center in Wilton, NY</strong> in and we&#39;re looking for talented Surgical Technologists to join our OR team.&nbsp;</span></p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">You&#39;ll step into a facility designed from the ground up with the latest technology, modern workflows, and a team that leads with collaboration &mdash; where every role is valued, every voice matters, and everyone shows up for each other.</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Surgical Technologists assists in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards as well as Center policies and procedures. &nbsp;Assists the nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care available.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist in the opening of the operating room (OR) and preparation for assigned cases;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Scrub on surgical procedures as assigned;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Anticipate the needs of the physician and has equipment, medical gases and supplies readily available for all procedures;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain sterile techniques during operative procedure;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Identify and act to correct and break in technique and reports as required;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assists in preparing for the next day cases and cleaning/stocking of the ORs, ensuring that an adequate amount of in-house supplies and medical gases are available in accordance with weekly caseload;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Other responsibilities as needed/assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">OR experience required; two years of hospital OR experience desired;</li><li id=\"isPasted\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Surgical Technologist certification required or unrestricted NYS LPN License;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to scrub all types of cases preferred;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ability to effectively communicate with providers, patients and peers.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Other Information:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Willingness to work at all our surgery center locations, in times of shortages or as needed.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Position requires long periods of standing, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently/up to 40 pounds occasionally and utilization of PPE daily.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
