The ideal candidate will maintain COMSEC databases and manage interactions with field sites, other government agencies, CORs/Auditors, the Committee on National Security Systems, and the National Office of Record. Candidates must be able to adapt to changes in operations, equipment, and policy, and effectively communicate with senior-level field oversight.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Detailed duties and responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Conduct Audits and Inventories:</strong> Plan, coordinate, and conduct COMSEC audits and inventories in accordance with Agency and national policies for the protection of materials, classified information, and Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI).</li><li><strong>Reporting and Documentation:</strong> Prepare detailed COMSEC audit reports and maintain official records and electronic databases related to all COMSEC activities.</li><li><strong>Incident Investigation:</strong> Review and process COMSEC-related requests and conduct thorough inquiries and investigations into COMSEC incidents.</li><li><strong>Training and Briefings:</strong> Develop, prepare, and deliver comprehensive COMSEC training sessions and security briefings to ensure personnel remain compliant with current standards.</li><li><strong>COR and Account Management:</strong> Perform day-to-day Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) activities and serve as a COMSEC account manager as required.</li><li><strong>Field Support and Coordination:</strong> Coordinate with the National Office of Record and travel to field sites to conduct audits and provide hands-on training.</li><li><strong>Logistics and Certification:</strong> Assist with COMSEC key transfers to field sites and manage the associated training certifications.</li></ul>",
