    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Ensure guest satisfaction through a properly maintained hotel and campground.  Respond promptly and efficiently to guest complaints and concerns. Ensure compliance with all fire and safety rules, regulations and policies.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p>Maintain, repair and troubleshoot all manageable mechanical, operational and equipment needs. Oversee all Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, and Mechanical for Hotel and Campground.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>General up keep of areas around hotel including pool deck, parking lot, etc.</li>\n <li>Possess a good mechanical knowledge of how to safely operate and maintain all tools.</li>\n <li>Respond to and complete all work orders in a timely manner, closing out as completed.</li>\n <li>Maintain and fully understand VING Card System.</li>\n <li>Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and proper inventory levels.</li>\n <li>Perform daily Building/Room Audits.</li>\n <li>Check all exterior lighting, public area lighting, and signage daily. </li>\n <li>Maintain the overall appearance of the hotel’s public space, pool, hallways, and parking lot to provide a safe environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Preferred minimum of 1 year maintenance/engineering experience in a hotel or related field.</li>\n <li>Ability to work safely and confidently.</li>\n <li>Strong organization and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Guest focused, self-disciplined, and self-starter.</li>\n <li>Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.</li>\n <li>Valid NYS Driver’s License.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned to support Darien Lake properties. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>",
