You will lead the daily structure and culture of the unit while ensuring youth safety, staff accountability, and facility compliance. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for professionals with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span><br>• Manage the day-to-day operations of a housing unit, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and youth well-being</p>\n<p><br>• Supervise, schedule, and evaluate assigned staff, providing training and corrective guidance as needed</p>\n<p><br>• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and conduct, and escalate issues appropriately</p>\n<p><br>• Oversee youth activities, unit schedules, and implementation of structured programming</p>\n<p><br>• Coordinate with clinical and operational teams to manage youth intake, appointments, and discharges</p>\n<p><br>• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies, including security procedures and behavior management systems</p>\n<p><br>• Conduct room checks, monitor for contraband, and maintain secure environments</p>\n<p><br>• Review and investigate incident reports, grievances, and use of restraints or confinement</p>\n<p><br>• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation</p>\n<p><br>• Conduct routine inspections and implement corrective actions as needed</p>\n<p><br>• Maintain logs and prepare narrative reports regarding youth behavior, staffing, and unit operations</p>\n<p><br>• Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development of unit staff</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required:</span><br>• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university</p>\n<p><br>• Minimum three years of experience working with youth in a residential behavioral health or juvenile justice setting</p>\n<p><br>• Prior supervisory experience in a similar environment</p>\n<p><br>• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check</p>\n<p><br>• Ability to meet Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT) training within 9 months</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred:</span><br>• Working knowledge of substance abuse and trauma-related interventions</p>\n<p><br>• Experience managing structured programming and crisis response in residential settings</p>\n<p><br>• CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apply Today</span><br>Make a difference with us.
