The work spans model homes, corporate suites, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art fitness centers, game rooms, and more. It's a portfolio that designers are proud to work on, and the team behind it is collaborative, talented, and driven.</p>\n<p>This is a mid-level role with real ownership. The Interior Designer Level 2 manages multiple projects simultaneously, leads CD set production, oversees FF&E sourcing, and supports a direct report - all while staying hands-on with the design work itself. The right candidate has grown past pure execution and is ready to take on coordination, mentorship, and accountability for quality across a project from start to finish. Leadership here is accessible and invested; the expectation is that you'll grow into increasing responsibility over time.</p>\n<p>Visit our website to view our portfolio! www.edgewoodproperties.com/residential-properties/</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Design Leadership & Project Delivery</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage multiple active projects simultaneously, balancing design quality, schedules, and stakeholder expectations across all phases.</li>\n <li>Help develop project programs and design requirements at the outset of each engagement, setting a clear foundation for execution.</li>\n <li>Create complete construction document (CD) sets for submittal to senior staff, including space plans, floor covering plans, RCPs, electrical plans, and concept elevations.</li>\n <li>Research, interpret, and apply construction codes to drawing documents prior to submittal.</li>\n <li>Adhere to and enforce established design standards and procedures across all project work.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Visualization & Presentation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop 3D models to support and communicate overall design concepts through all project phases.</li>\n <li>Prepare digital and physical presentation boards and layouts for design review meetings and ownership approvals.</li>\n <li>Convey design intent clearly and consistently from concept through construction installation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Construction & FF&E Coordination</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide construction support and installation oversight to ensure design compliance in the field.</li>\n <li>Lead FF&E product sourcing and specification, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with architecture, engineering, and construction teams to ensure design solutions are integrated and buildable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Team Development & Collaboration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage up to one direct report, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and day-to-day support.</li>\n <li>Mentor junior associates, sharing technical knowledge and helping them develop their skills and professional judgment.</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively across internal resources, vendor partners, and remote teams to keep projects aligned and moving forward.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h2>Requirements & Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program.</li>\n <li>4-7 years of professional interior design experience.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated construction knowledge and understanding of how design decisions affect the build process.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2-3 years of experience in multifamily residential or hospitality interiors.</li>\n <li>Project management experience.</li>\n <li>Prior experience managing or mentoring junior staff.</li>\n <li>Ability to influence and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and remote stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>     </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In return, we offer competitive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental and vision benefits, life insurance, </p>\n<p>a 401(k) with company match and a corporate team environment with opportunity of advancement.
