The Eastern and Western Ranges provide capabilities for customers to safely launch, track and recover spacelift systems as well as perform operational test missions in support of ballistic missile deployment and aircraft flight tests.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EWOCS provides communication systems maintenance, operations, and support services for voice, video, data and infrastructure yielding a robust communications capability for a wide range of customers in a dynamic launch environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are actively looking for an Information Assurance Analyst to join our growing team!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The IA Journeyman reports to and follows the guidance of the Sr. IA Lead</li>\n <li>The Information Assurance Journeyman provides technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to internal and external customers in support of their DOD network and information security systems under the principles and policies of DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF)</li>\n <li>Assists in the designs, development and implementation of security requirements within the customer’s business processes.  Prepares documentation from information obtained from customer using accepted guidelines outlined in DOD RMF Policies </li>\n <li>Assists in the preparation of security test and evaluation plans. </li>\n <li>Provides certification and accreditation support in the development of security and contingency plans and conducts complex risk and vulnerability assessments. </li>\n <li>Supports the customer in their development of system security plans and contingency plans.  </li>\n <li>Recommends to the customer system enhancements to improve security deficiencies. </li>\n <li>Supports the customer with testing and integration of computer and network security tools.</li>\n <li>Secures system configurations and installs security tools, scans systems in order to determine compliance and report results and evaluates products and various aspects of system administration.</li>\n <li>Conducts security program audits and assists in developing solutions to lessen identified risks. </li>\n <li>Assists in the development of strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements. </li>\n <li>Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements. </li>\n <li>Assists in the evaluation, development and enhancement of security requirements, policy and tools. </li>\n <li>Provides assistance in computer incident investigations. </li>\n <li>Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Will have experience following and applying the principals of DOD RMF</li>\n <li>Must have Active CompTIA Security+ Certification</li>\n <li>Supports the customer’s RMF processes for programs to include cybersecurity activities, eMASS data base management and vulnerability identification and risk management</li>\n <li>Must understand Systems Engineering requirements, specifications, and experience implementing DoD IA C&A and A&A processes</li>\n <li>Must have knowledge of Systems Engineering principles, including any of the following: System requirements definition and analysis, System Test and Analysis, and Systems Engineering Studies</li>\n <li>Will Collaborate with system developers, program managers, and principal engineers to ensure information security requirements are effectively implemented throughout the security architecture, design, development, configuration, and implementation processes            </li>\n <li>Ensure cybersecurity posture is met and maintained; develop security policies, procedures, plans, and other evidence of compliance with various security controls; create and maintain RMF documentation</li>\n <li>The IA Journeyman will have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts.</li>\n <li>Be able to independently determine and provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, and develop approaches to solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Experience/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A Bachelor’s degree and/or three to five years of related experience performing a wide variety of information assurance and information systems security engineering duties</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements/Security Clearance</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active DoD Secret Clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>\n<p><strong>SALARY RANGE:</strong></p>\n<p>Salary Minimum: $70,000Salary Maximum: $90,000</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
