margin-left: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">This position is based in Lake Charles, LA. &nbsp;</span></p><h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(30, 46, 85);\">PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</span></h3><ol><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Provides construction site engineering resources and expertise during the construction phase of the Project.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Plan and recommend civil procedures to be implemented by Field Supervision to ensure construction operations are within requirements of engineering design and specifications.</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Ensure all copies of specifications and construction drawings are latest issue and distributes as required to the Superintendent(s).</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Works with construction crews and engineering leaders to plan field layout on the project site, ensuring appropriate utility and commercial lines are marked before production begins.</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Prepare RFP for important packages of work (precast, piles, concrete) in coordination with construction managers.</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Coordinate field works performed by subcontractors (sweeping, geotechnical campaign, orientations, coordination with H&amp;S).</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Attend meetings with potential suppliers in coordination with procurement department.</li><li style=\"text-align: justify; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ol><h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(30, 46, 85);\">QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</span></h3><p style=\"text-align: justify; margin-left: 20px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">At a minimum, the Field Engineer must have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent field of study, along with 4+ years of construction field related experience and a valid and current driver&#39;s license or a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 8+ years of construction field related experience and a valid and current driver&#39;s license.
