You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient care. The&nbsp;RN is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.<br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.</li>\n <li>Administers direct care as necessary.</li>\n <li>Administer prescribed medications to patients.</li>\n <li>Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.</li>\n <li>Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.</li>\n <li>Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered.</li>\n <li>Responds to resident emergency call system.</li>\n <li>Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.</li>\n <li>Accompanies physicians when making rounds.</li>\n <li>Encourages restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence.</li>\n <li>Participates in family/resident counseling, as necessary.</li>\n <li>Assists with the orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel.</li>\n <li>Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.</li>\n <li>Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>All nurses must be currently licensed in the State. Must have current CPR certification.</li>\n <li>Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, at least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
