    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">The General Maintenance Worker performs duties to maintain a superior appearance of buildings and grounds at the Wastewater Treatment Plants.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong> include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Performs general grounds/landscaping maintenance to include cutting grass, pressure washing, bush hogging, and pruning.</li><li>Performs cleaning duties as needed to maintain superior appearance of interior and exterior of buildings. &nbsp;This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning floors, windows, furniture, and the break room, and emptying and disposing of trash.</li><li>Cleans and disinfects restrooms and restocks supplies as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Reports the need for maintenance and repair; submits work orders as required.</li><li>Maintains basic records of work performed. &nbsp;</li><li>Performs general maintenance duties including, but not limited to, minor and routine painting, lighting and plumbing work.</li><li>Assist with cleaning clarifiers, basins, head-works, and ATAD pipe gallery.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists Plant Operators as needed with unloading plant chemicals, moving and hooking up polymer totes, accepting deliveries, along with other operational duties as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Observes and follows all HCWA safety rules and regulations.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong> High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</strong> Valid Georgia Driver&#39;s License. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong> The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
