Kelvion &ndash; Together, We Shape the Future</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Weld metal parts together to fabricate or repair product by performing the following duties.</p><p><strong>What you will be responsible for:</strong></p><ul><li>Weld metal parts together using mig, and/or stick welding or any combination using both arc welding processes to fabricate or repair headers or header subassemblies.</li><li>Ability to understand and interpret drawings, weld symbols and weld procedures</li><li>Ability to operate pneumatic or electric grinders</li><li>Removes metal with carbon arc gouging equipment and/or plasma gouging equipment</li><li>Repair broken or cracked parts and fills holes.</li><li>Maintains production record of parts and jobs fabricated as required by the Department Manager.</li><li>Position pieces with overhead or jib cranes.</li><li>Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on&ndash;site, ability to work overtime.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.</li></ul><p><strong><u>COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to add and subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to use and interpret tape measures.</li></ul><p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Must pass American Society of Mechanical Engineering welding test.
