Now a wholly owned subsidiary of ERMCO, we operate with the agility of a startup and the backing of an industry leader.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong>The Electronics Technician is responsible for supporting the product development team with CAD, mechanical and electrical prototyping, assembly, debugging, rework and support of design and validation testing.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>This role will be onsite in Raleigh, NC. Relocation Assistance is available.</em></strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support of engineering prototypes throughout their usable lifetime including procurement, contract manufacturer support, assembly and rework as needed.</li>\n <li>Actively participate with Hardware Engineering including validation testing activities</li>\n <li>Manufacturing Engineering (test fixturing, programming, analysis)</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and support on DFM and Pilot Manufacturing transition</li>\n <li>Manage low voltage engineering laboratory, including components and rework.</li>\n <li>Track laboratory equipment and manage calibration and repair as needed.</li>\n <li>Inspection, debugging, and repair of printed circuit boards.</li>\n <li>Wiring of high-power, high-voltage test setups</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates degree, preferably bachelors, in electrical engineering technology or equivalent degree or experience.</li>\n <li>10 or more years of experience in circuit board assembly and rework.</li>\n <li>Proficient with mechanical prototyping and fabrication tools. </li>\n <li>Experience using schematic and layout CAD tools and preferably design of circuit boards.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with common electronic components such as op-amps, capacitors, and microcontrollers.</li>\n <li>Experience with debugging of PCBs and commonly used electronics laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, LCR meters, power supplies, and signal generators.</li>\n <li>Experience working in a team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Desired Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Machining, mechanical assembly, and use of CAD tools.</li>\n <li>Lab management, including equipment calibration tracking, engineering materials inventory.</li>\n <li>Safety systems, standards, and procedures such as MSDS, interlocks, LOTO, NFPA and OSHA.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Let’s Build the Future Together </strong></p>\n<p>At ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
