The ideal candidate will be skilled in:\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tOperate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment to support physicians during interventional pain management procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, and other image-guided procedures.\\r\\n\\tEnsure proper positioning of the C-arm and patient to obtain optimal imaging while maintaining radiation safety for patients and clinical staff.\\r\\n\\tPerform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging as directed by the physician in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.\\r\\n\\tApply appropriate radiation safety practices, including shielding, collimation, and minimizing radiation exposure consistent with ALARA principles.\\r\\n\\tPrepare patients for imaging and procedures by verifying patient identity, explaining imaging steps, and ensuring appropriate positioning and comfort.\\r\\n\\tMaintain and perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.\\r\\n\\tEnsure imaging equipment is functioning properly and promptly report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or service provider.\\r\\n\\tMaintain accurate and timely documentation related to imaging and patient care in the electronic medical record.\\r\\n\\tCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support safe procedural operations.\\r\\n\\tMaintain current knowledge of radiologic technology, fluoroscopy techniques, and radiation safety standards through continuing education and training.\\r\\n\\tPossess strong understanding of fluoroscopy positioning and imaging techniques\\r\\n\\tDisplay excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety\\r\\n\\tWork effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced, procedure-based clinical environment.\\r\\n\\tPossess strong communication and teamwork skills.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nEducation and Experience:\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tAssociate/Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.\\r\\n\\tARRT (RT(R)) certification required.\\r\\n\\tState of Florida Medical Board X-Ray Operators License required.\\r\\n\\tSignificant and experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy equipment required.\\r\\n\\tKnowledge of radiation safety and imaging best practices.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tBLS certification required.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nAbout the Practice:&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nJaffe Sports Medicine (JSM), founded in 1995, is a medical practice with board-certified physicians in Interventional Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Orthopedic Surgery, and a team of licensed Physical Therapists.
