    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Miss A Stores Inc. is currently seeking an organized, motivated, and reliable <strong>Retail Maintenance Associate</strong> to join our expanding team in Dallas, Texas! As a <strong>Retail Maintenance Associate</strong>, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance duties to include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and monthly preventative maintenance on all Miss A locations &amp; HQ facility.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage and prioritize urgent needs for all store locations and HQ facilities&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently ensuring minimal disruption to business operations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety and regulatory standards&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor and manage critical maintenance supplies to ensure all costs are kept within budget</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs the systematic monthly preventative maintenance and maintaining monthly log</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, installing of water heaters, unclogging of drains, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches, incandescent and florescent bulbs/tubes, ballast, sockets, fuse, minor appliance cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using a brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assemble, reconfigures, installs, and remounts modular offices, warehouses, and retail stores (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, file cabinets, wall d&eacute;cor, light fixtures, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepares the surfaces and paints various types of structures and equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responds to various service requests and provides corrective action</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate and communicate effectively with store management, retail operations and other internal partners on maintenance plans/schedules&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Track asset conditions and maintenance history planning for upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Track and measure maintenance performance to identify areas for improvement</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate and communicate effectively with store management, retail operations and other internal partners on maintenance plans/schedules&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with other assigned tasks, as needed</li></ul></div><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Two (2) years of facility maintenance experience (preferably in Retail Store setting)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong overall knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and power tools/equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong interpersonal and team building skills. This includes the ability to collaborate with a diverse workforce</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and emailing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays (as needed)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required for effective communications with all levels of the organization</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have reliable transportation &amp; a valid driver&rsquo;s license&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
