    "description": "<h2>Role Overview</h2>\n<p>Sodexo is seeking a full-time <strong>Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR)</strong> at <strong>Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, </strong>a 700-bed level III trauma center located in <strong>Fayetteville, North Carolina. </strong>This position will see low nutritional risk patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Dietitian. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!</strong><strong>Money toward continuing education events</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Salary will be pro-rated, based on number of hours worked</strong></p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>perform nutrition screening of patients and assess nutrition risk levels per established criteria;</li>\n <li>provide appropriate nutrition education based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities;</li>\n <li>plan menus and nourishments with patients to meet individual nutrition care needs in accordance with diet order, patient preferences, and allergies/intolerances;</li>\n <li>participate in performance improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction; and</li>\n <li>participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees and other nutrition related tasks. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. If you need assistance with the application process, please complete this form.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications & Requirements</h2>\n<p>Minimum Education Requirement - Associate’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND, or required coursework and supervised practice in a Certified Dietary Manager Program as dictated by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Credentials Requirement:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Meets eligibility requirements for Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)</li>\n <li>Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice</li>\n</ul>",
