Primary responsibilities will include advising on legal issues in connection with equity-linked derivatives products, and drafting/negotiating/executing derivatives and financing transaction documents.</span></p>\n<p><span>This attorney must be experienced in ISDA architecture/documentation, U.S. securities law, broker-dealer regulations, Exchange Act rules and some Title VII.&nbsp; He or she must be comfortable with products for issuers (e.g., ASRs, call-spread overlays and VPFs), as well as products for affiliates/shareholders. Experience with margin loans would be a plus.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Provide legal advice in connection with equity-linked derivatives transactions (delta one and non-delta one) in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Draft, negotiate and execute transaction documents independently or with other team members</span></li>\n <li><span>Timely identify, escalate and communicate issues to senior members of the legal department</span></li>\n <li><span>Coordinate and collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders to identify and help mitigate legal, regulatory and reputational risks</span></li>\n <li><span>Instruct/work with/manage external counsel</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>3-10 years of experience in equity derivatives at a leading law firm or equivalent experience at a large financial institution.</span></li>\n <li><span>J.D. required; active member of the New York State Bar in good standing.</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge of and experience with complex equity-linked derivatives products.</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge of and experience with U.S. securities laws (e.g., Section 5),&nbsp;broker-dealer regulations, Exchange Act rules (e.g., 10b5, Rule 144) and some Title VII.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent communications skills</span></li>\n <li><span>Team player with inherent commercial judgment and strong analytical skills.</span></li>\n <li><span>High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous projects under tight deadlines.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to engage proactively as an advisor to the business and collaboratively work with other control areas.</span></li>\n <li><span>Self-starter, strong work ethic and personal accountability.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<div>\n ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS\n</div>\n<div>\n <br>\n  &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
