The Retail Assistant Manager supports efficient store operations through staff supervision, inventory oversight, and exceptional customer service to ensure a productive and positive shopping environment. The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for reaching sales quotas and goals by performing the following duties:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assigns duties, schedules shifts and breaks, and ensures adequate floor coverage</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Trains and supervises staff on store policies and job duties</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Orders and inspects merchandise, supplies, and equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Tracks deliveries, check for accuracy and reports discrepancies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures items are properly stocked, priced, and displayed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures accuracy in sales, cash handling, and daily deposits</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Handles complaints and returns professionally</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with customer service and sales as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicates regularly with the Store Manager, Sales Leads, Production Supervisor, and Director of Operations/Retail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all company and safety policies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
