Join our highly motivated team and take pride in your work as we create a better future together.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are currently seeking an experienced commercial property manager to work in our Boca Raton office.     The Property Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for the overall management and maintenance for an assigned portfolio consisting of office, industrial and retail properties.  The Property Manager is responsible for all financial aspects of the portfolio.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the planning, budgeting, and control of operating and capital expenditures.  Manages the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, and variance reports.  </li>\n <li>Supervises the accounts receivable and accounts payable process, including collection of rent, accruals, payment of expenses, common area maintenance estimates, true-ups, reconciliations, compliance with lease terms, and preparation of all related documentation.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the compliance of all tenant lease agreements to ensure all obligations of the Landlord and Tenant are being met.</li>\n <li>Responds to tenant requests and needs and coordinates with the Property Management and Building Staff Teams to solve the issues.  Maintains a strong relationship with the tenants.  </li>\n <li>Oversee in the selection and performance of vendor services, including preparation of request for proposals and service agreements. Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance and standards established in the service agreement are being met.</li>\n <li>Supervise scheduling and facilitating maintenance with vendors and tenants.</li>\n <li>Maintains a strong relationship and regular interaction with Property Owners to ensure that objectives are being met.</li>\n <li>Perform property inspections on a regular basis and make recommendations to maintain and enhance the asset.</li>\n <li>Supervises and manages team members to ensure exceptional performance is being achieved.  The Property Manager is responsible for setting and attaining performance goals, as well as responsible for the development, coaching, and counselling of the team members. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Basic requirements and key functional responsibilities of the Property Manager include, but are not limited to the following:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, real estate, or finance.</li>\n <li>Florida real estate license or willingness to obtain a license within first four months of employment.</li>\n <li>CPM or RPA designation a plus.</li>\n <li>Candidate will possess four to seven years related experience.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of commercial real estate, financial terms and principles and can analyze and conduct complex financial and business decisions. </li>\n <li>Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively resolve situations or complaints from tenants, employees, or management.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.</li>\n <li>Experience with Yardi, MRI software and Kardin budgeting package a plus.</li>\n <li>Ability to express ideas clearly in written and verbal communications, with the capability to create complex financial and business-related documents.</li>\n <li>Strong time management and organizational skills; must be detail oriented.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and ordinances pertinent to facilities planning, design, construction, and maintenance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Workplace Type</h2>On-Site\n<h2><i>Our Equal Opportunity Commitment</i></h2>\n<p><strong>Our Equal Opportunity Commitment</strong></p>\n<p>Avison Young is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity within our workforce.
