Elevate your career by joining <strong>Nextech</strong> today!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You’ll Be Doing</h2>\n<p>The Installation Technician is responsible for the installation of new light commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and related controls. This person organizes work dispatched to them by the Manager, maintains thorough and accurate records of all work performed, and clearly communicates the status of work with appropriate parties. This person will also be responsible for maintaining a fully equipped service vehicle which they will take home at night. We also offer Educational Reimbursements for your continued education.</li>\n <li><strong>Top-Tier Health Insurance</strong> – Choose from excellent options, including a FREE employee-only plan.</li>\n <li><strong>Dental & Vision Coverage</strong> – Prioritize your overall health with added benefits. <em>Starts after your first 30 days!  </em></li>\n <li><strong>Supplemental Insurance Options</strong> – Access Accident, Critical Illness, Disability, and Supplemental Life coverage.</li>\n <li><strong>FREE Life Insurance</strong> – Coverage equal to your annualized pay at no cost to you.</li>\n <li><strong>401(k) Retirement Plan</strong> – Secure your future with a 50% match on the first 6% of your contributions.</li>\n <li><strong>Generous Time Off</strong> – Recharge with 7 paid holidays, and Paid Time Off (PTO)</li>\n <li><strong>Extra Perks -</strong> Discounts on Travel, Auto, Food and many more.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Min Compensation</h2>USD $30.00/Hr.\n<h2>Max Compensation</h2>USD $38.00/Hr.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Driving company vehicles to and from home, Branch office, and work sites.</li>\n <li>Coordinating and communicating work tasks with job team members.</li>\n <li>Coordinating and communicating work status with city officials, crane operators, other contractors, jobsite customer representatives, and/or property managers.</li>\n <li>Maintaining complete, accurate, and timely records in order to keep Branch Office well informed of work status.</li>\n <li>Maintaining physical plans, paperwork, and files related to work.</li>\n <li>Measuring and fabricating ductwork to project specifications</li>\n <li>Installing and insulating duct systems</li>\n <li>Performing gas piping installation and layout</li>\n <li>Replacing rooftop units (RTUs) efficiently and safely</li>\n <li>Replacing split systems and boilers</li>\n <li>Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications</li>\n <li>Collaborating with team members to ensure timely project completion</li>\n <li>Adhering to safety protocols and company policies</li>\n <li>Following all service procedures required by customer including IVR check-in, backup paperwork, and picture documentation of work.</li>\n <li>Monitoring and improving job safety, quality, and productivity.</li>\n <li>Following all standards, policies, & procedures established by Nextech management. </li>\n <li>Participating in training and testing programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work efficiently with technology tools including smart phones, laptops, tablets, and software required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the manufacturer’s installation practices and codes for small refrigeration equipment, and walk-in boxes, Ice machines, Soda/Fountain machines, rack, supermarket, multiple compressor installations.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates self-motivation & successful experience in previous jobs & assigned responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask, and get supervisors’ approval on questions or concerns.</li>\n <li>Must have integrity, reliability and ability to listen to and interpret supervision from managers/supervisors </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What We’re Looking For</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li>\n <li>EPA Certification required.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HVACR Assistant Installer, or Commercial Refrigeration Installer  or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Proficient in reading schematics and work plans</li>\n <li>Knowledge with advance principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating</li>\n <li>Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills for iPad and cell phone communication and documentation</li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays - if needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to maintain light to moderate physical activity for an 8-hour period in outside environments with exposure to sun, wind, rain, heat, and cold required.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform more strenuous physical activity including extended overhead work in ceilings, crawling and working in tight spaces, and periodically lifting objects weighing up to 75 lbs. required.</li>\n</ul>",
