You will clean, set-up, allocate materials, load labels, and operate the labeling and shrink machines efficiently and safely while always maintaining quality and production standards.</p><p><br/></p><align-center><strong>Working hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm</strong></align-center><p>Requirements</p><p>· Good understanding of labeling and shrink application equipment</p><p>· Acquire and load materials needed for specific scheduled jobs (labels and shrink bands)</p><p>· Responsible for adherence to Quality Assurance processes and procedures related to Food Defense, HACCP, and Allergens.</p><p>· Understand all safety training and requirements to ensure all related policies and procedures are being followed.</p><p>· Maintain quality and production standards while operating equipment</p><p>· Possess overall knowledge and understanding of the entire production line</p><p>· Inspect bottles - cap, fill level, shrink, inkjet for proper placement of labels</p><p>· Responsible for completion of all required paperwork</p><p>· Prepares machine for startup and shutdown procedures on a daily basis and follows set production schedule</p><p>· Performs operator adjustments, quality checks, and repairs to machine as needed</p><p>· Ensures cleanliness of machine and surrounding area</p><p>· Communicates with others as needed for successful completion of work</p><p>· Prepares samples for quality assurance verification</p><p>· Maintains logs for inventory as needed</p><p>· Perform other related duties as required</p><p>· Adheres to Plant Good Manufacturing Practices and supports food safety objectives.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Minimum:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read and write</li><li>Basic computer skills</li><li>Ability to follow written instructions</li><li>Ability to climb over/under conveyors</li><li>Ability to understand test results and record findings</li><li>Ability to lift 15-20lbs repeatedly during a 10-hour shift</li><li>Ability to measure defined quantities of needed materials</li><li>Ability to multi task and operate two labelers at once</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><p>· High School Diploma/GED</p><p>· 3+ years in a food manufacturing plant</p><p>· Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite and Google products</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>· Ability to stand constantly</p><p>· Walk Frequently</p><p>· Handle materials occasionally</p><p>· Reach outward frequently</p><p>· Reach above shoulder occasionally</p><p>· Squat or kneel occasionally</p><p>· Bend occasionally</p><p>· Climb over/under conveyors frequently</p><p>· Climb up/down on a ladder frequently</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to work in multiple climates and work environments.
