    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University, within Eastern Virginia Medical Group (EVMG), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our academic faculty. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary setting while also contributing to the teaching and research missions of a leading academic medical center.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with Nursing, office staff, administration in patient care</li>\n <li>Collaborate with peers, faculty and support staff</li>\n <li>Participate in academic/clinical/research activities as needed</li>\n <li>Provide administrative and supervisory support to educational, clinical, research mission.</li>\n <li>Participate in committees as assigned.</li>\n <li>Communication skills to present teaching materials</li>\n <li>Participate in education evaluation and career development of students, residents, fellows and staff. </li>\n <li>Provide physician care to patients in office/hospital setting. </li>\n <li>Supervise staff under faculty supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.</li>\n <li>Completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program.</li>\n <li>Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.</li>\n <li>Active state medical license (or eligibility for licensure).</li>\n <li>Current BLS and ACLS; NRP and other certifications as required by the institution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience or Attributes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Commitment to patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with electronic medical records.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Location : Location</h2>US-VA-Norfolk",
